As an endocrinologist at Saint Peter’s, Dr. Ahsun manages a broad range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, prolactinomas, and hypopituitarism. At Einstein Healthcare Network, Dr. Ahsun gained extensive inpatient experience treating conditions such as thyroid storm, Cushing’s syndrome, adrenal insufficiency, transplant-related endocrine issues, and pheochromocytoma. Her experience at Moss Rehab Elkins Park included working with patients recovering from amputations and brain trauma. As Associate Chief Resident, Dr. Ahsun collaborated with chief residents to organize and lead departmental conferences and contributed to the education of interns and fellow residents. Dr. Ahsun has a strong interest in bone health and osteoporosis, having revised the Stat Pearls article on secondary osteoporosis and presented on glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis. These areas are now being integrated into the practice at Saint Peter’s.
