About Dusan Perisic, MD
Dr. Dusan Perisic is the Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Saint Peters University Hospital, New Brunswick, New Jersey. He is the member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Perisic was born in Belgrade, Serbia where he earned his medical degree at the Belgrade Medical School, University of Belgrade, Serbia. He then pursued one year of surgical internship followed by four years of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the Institute for Gynecology and Obstetrics in Belgrade, Serbia. After coming to the United States, Dr. Perisic has done his clinical research at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Morristown Memorial Medical Center, Atlantic Health System, New Jersey.
Dr. Perisic expertise includes minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He has performed hundreds of complex gynecologic laparoscopic and Da Vinci robotic procedures. Both currently and in the past, he is actively involved in training Obstetrics and Gynecology residents in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Perisic has published numerous scientific articles and is currently involved in scientific research that involves minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Perisic has received numerous awards both during his residency training and after.
